Conservation, Mitigation, and Restoration Services
We complete a variety of conservation, mitigation, and restoration activities.
Conservation Site Creation, Monitoring, and Reporting

If your project is interested in placing areas into conservation easement to mitigate for project impacts, we can help identify a site and determine the mitigation value, and develop the management plan. We also conduct the surveys and studies needed to determine the value of a site for conservation, whether it is specific for your project or if you are interested in turning a site into a conservation bank. After conservation sites and banks have been established, monitoring is often required by the management plan to keep tabs on the different species and habitats and maintain the site. We complete these monitoring surveys and reports in support of the site and hold required permits to survey for special status species.

Mitigation for projects impacts is rarely cut and dry. We prepare creative mitigation strategies to address as much mitigation as possible with the least amount of cost. We also negotiate with the agencies on your behalf and implement and monitor mitigation activities and maintain mitigation areas to comply with environmental requirements.
Mitigation Strategies and Monitoring

Restoration
Restoration activities are one form of mitigation, which can be completed on- or off-site. It can be used to restore areas of a project site that were impacted by the project, improve areas that have been degraded, or introduce native plants and animals to habitats where they would normally be expected to occur. We prepare the necessary plans to restore areas, implement the restoration tasks, and monitor and report on the restored areas over time.
