Surveys, Reports, and Species Management Services
We complete a variety of different surveys and reports in support of environmental regulations and permits and manage plant and wildlife species.
Aquatic Resources Delineations

We delineate the top of bank and ordinary high-water mark of wetlands within your project site and prepare Aquatic Resources Delineation (ARD) reports in support of the Clean Water Act (Sections 401 and 404) and California Fish and Game Code (CDFW Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreements). These ARDs were originally called wetland delineations.

Biological Evaluations/Assessments
We complete reconnaissance-level surveys of your project site and prepare a Biological Evaluation or Biological Assessment report in support of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), CDFW Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement Notifications, Clean Water Act permits, Tahoe Regional Planning Authority, and other laws, permits, and agencies.
We complete rare, invasive, and common plant surveys, determine residual dry matter, and identify, mark, and measure trees in your project site for environmental requirements and permits. This information can be used for project planning purposes, grazing management, and more.
Botanical, Residual Dry Matter, and Tree Surveys
Constraints Analyses
We complete a desktop analysis, and field surveys if requested, of potential project sites to determine environmental constraints with your project so you can determine which project site would have the least impacts, costs, and constraints.
Protocol and Non-Protocol Wildlife Surveys
We complete protocol and non-protocol wildlife surveys for many different species and have the required permits to survey and handle various special status species. Afterwards we prepare a report of our findings for your records and other needs.
Species Management
We complete a variety of plant and wildlife management activities, including burrowing owl relocation, California tiger salamander burrow excavation, fish relocation, bird exclusion, native plant relocation, species protection, and more.
